Queer Creek Whetstone is mined in Ohio, in the United States. Queer Creek is sandstone with estimated grit 600-#1000.

Queer Creek is preliminarily lapped and does not require lapping after purchase. Refresh stone surface with a coarse dressing stone if the surface becomes glazed. Queer Creek should be used with water or oil as a lubricant.

Queer Creek stones may have a color pattern and slight natural imperfections.
