TSProf K03 Pro Convex Attachment is mounted on the abrasive holder and provides a uniform angle change across the entire width of the secondary bevels, producing a radius shape of the lens as a result of the work. Suitable for steel rod of K03 Pro and K03 Lite sharpener.
The convex grind shows itself very well under impact loads, while cutting reeds, coastal bushes and grass, large raw bones, and keratinized twigs.The angle ranges are determined by the position of the rod in the attachment. The attachment is labeled with the appropriate angle range. As the abrasive moves along the secondary bevel from the cutting edge line to the spine of the knife, the angle range changes in the direction of decreasing the angle. The angle range must be chosen according to the thickness of the knife. If the minimum thickness is 0,2 - 0,4mm, the 4,3 degree head is suitable; if the thickness is 0,4 - 0,6mm, the 7,2 degree head is suitable; if the thickness is 0,7mm or thicker, the 10,7 degree head is suitable.
