Is it that the OCB for the Rigel finer grit stones are %25 diamond concentration providing more of a scratch free sharpen than Sirius which it 100%..?

The Rigel set is not available any more, only the Sirius set. The Rigel set had a lower % of diamond in the bond of the finer grit stones. The higher % loading of the Sirius set works faster and can also provide the same scratch pattern as the lower % Rigel set by just doing lighter and fewer strokes. It effectively does the same job in less time.

We are a USA company based just outside of Atlanta, GA. All the stock we have, will be locally shipped from there. We are working hard on getting the logistics resolved to get more stock as soon as possible. Thank you for your prayers for our suppliers, they desperately need it right now!

The new generation Venev stones come ready to use, and don't actually require extensive lapping. They feel slightly coarse to the touch when new, but this top laye is quickly removed within a few minutes of sharpening.

If you prefer to condition them before use, then I suggest using a cleaning / conditioning stone to rub it over the surface of the Venev stones under running water for a quick conditioning before use. One of these cleaning / conditioning stones are also great for cleaning your Venev stones if they load up during extensive use, or if you simply want to clean them after use.

We have a Bodrid stone and a Breeze semi-natural Nagura stone that both work well for this purpose. There are also other products available online (like the small "King Nagura" 8k stone) that also work well for this purpose. The grit of the cleaning / conditioning stone is not overly relevant, so you can use the same Nagura stone to clean / condition all your Venev stones.
