K03 Double Clamps

Double Clamps securely hold a blade of any shape, ensuring that the jaws fit the knife back surfaces and free access to the blade for sharpening. The clamps design is based on three main components: the base, flat springs, and clamping jaws. The flat flexible springs connect heavy-duty jaws to the base and provide a universal fit. When the knife is installed in the clamp, the springs change from a free to a tense state, and the rigidity of the mounting increases significantly.

Fastening and adjusting screws in the clamp bunch form a rigid geometrical system and at the same time, allow wide range adjustment of the clamp to any shape of the blade and ensure the symmetry of the installation. Double clamps are the most universal in the entire family of TSPROF clamps; unlike a single clamp, they allow to clamp thin and long blades. Two gripping points prevent the blade wobble.

An independent movement of the clamps along the entire length of the frame is possible. It is suitable for dining and filet knives with a narrow spine. However, unlike a single clamp, the jaws are narrower in the double clamp, they have a width of 16mm, so we do not recommend clamp knives with a spine wider than 3.5mm.
